The Bay Gardens is an ongoing contemporary evolving artwork event that has developed into a unique outdoor circuit.
We offer our visitors a unique festival experience with seven (7) days of music, camping and activities for the whole family.
An outdoor public market with approximately fifteen local agricultural producers, artists and artisans, open on Saturdays from July 5th to September 6th, from 10:00 to 16:00.
Visit the Village and discover the life of the first English settlers. Walk to Duthie’s Point and explore this enchanting site with its forest trails and magnificent views of the Bay of Chaleurs. Our pebble beach is the perfect place for a picnic.
Follow the Saint-Edgar road along the Little Cascapedia River and discover the covered bridge constructed in 1938 that will take you to the parish of Saint-Edgar.
The “Les Chevaliers de la motoneige” snowmobile club organizes trips on a maintained circuit, inter-club exchanges and social evenings that are open to everyone. The trail is part of the Trans-Québec 595 snowmobile trail between the towns of New Richmond and Matane, and the Trans-Quebec Trail 5 that extends all along the Gaspé Peninsula.
Situated in the Black Capes of New Richmond, come to discover pebbles, agates, shells and fossils on the beach and dive to search for starfish and other underwater treasures.
The international treasure hunt continues… Visit geocaching.com, sign up free of charge and begin your adventure with the goal of discovering the 25 geocaches hidden by the Town of New Richmond. The first 100 geocachers who complete a passport will receive a traceable geocoin.
This rally, that is one of the events of the Quebec section of the Canadian and North American Rally Championship, draws more than 12 000 spectators each year.
Pathway through the ecological reserve of the Estuary of the Little Cascapedia River.
The Parc régional Petite-Cascapédia, that includes the Pin Rouge downhill ski center, is located in the heart of the Little Cascapedia River valley in a natural untouched environment. A quadruple ski lift will transport you to the summit of the mountain where you can observe a grandiose setting: the Bay of Chaleurs and the surrounding mountains.
An enchanting site located next to the Bay of Chaleurs and the mouth of the Little Cascapedia River, this municipal park offers games for children, a paved biking and walking track and much more. Come to discover the treasures of this exceptional park.
The Little Cascapedia River, well known for its cold water the color of emeralds, offers salmon and brook trout fishing over a distance of 120 km.
The Cross Country Ski Club of New Richmond has 8 km of classic ski trails and 3 km of skate-skiing trails in the enchanting site of the Gaspesian British Heritage Village.
This challenge is a sport oriented family event, open to anyone looking for a fun bike day. The money raised during the event will go towards the Rotary Club of New Richmond and Rotary International’s effort.
